Do you really need an ERP?

ERP is powerful, but not every operational problem requires an enterprise-wide platform. The useful question is how much of the organization actually needs to be connected.

The acronym matters less than the scope of the problem.

A focused problem may need a focused application.

If the immediate issue is construction reporting, club administration, executive monitoring or another defined workflow, a ready or custom web application may solve the problem without introducing an organization-wide platform.

ERP becomes more relevant as processes become interconnected.

When sales, purchasing, expenses, people, assets, approvals and reporting increasingly depend on the same information, maintaining separate records becomes harder. An integrated platform can create a common operating structure.

Do not buy complexity for its own sake.

A good system should match the organization's actual operating needs, people and ability to use it. Circle ICT can assess whether the better path is ERP, AMS, EMS, an off-the-shelf application or a custom web application.
