Circle ICT — Systems, Platforms & Practical Technology

OUR HISTORY

A technology story built through actual products, systems and operating problems.

Circle ICT did not begin as a generic software agency. Its present direction was formed over years of systems development, enterprise hardware work, product experimentation and the practical need to make organizations easier to see and manage.

THE THREAD THROUGH EVERYTHING

From building systems to building an ICT company.

The history of Circle ICT is best understood as a progression. Software came first. Hardware followed. Then came the attempt to bring those disciplines together into products and management platforms. Each stage added a capability that now forms part of Circle ICT’s service portfolio.

The result today is a company that can look at a business problem from more than one angle: software, process, hardware, deployment and user capability.

THE TIMELINE

How Circle ICT developed, stage by stage.

A fuller record of the milestones that shaped the company’s present capabilities.

2014
SYSTEMS FOUNDATION

Business systems development becomes the starting point.

The roots of Circle ICT trace to hands-on systems development work beginning in 2014. The focus was not simply creating websites or isolated code, but understanding how business information could be organized into usable systems.

This period established the discipline that remains central to Circle ICT today: identify the operational problem, structure the data and workflow, then build technology around how the organization actually works.

What this contributed todaySystems analysis • database-driven applications • workflow thinking • business-first development
2017
HARDWARE & TECHNOLOGY EXPANSION

The work expands beyond software into computers and practical ICT hardware.

By 2017, the technology work was broadening. Attention moved into enterprise computers, hardware evaluation and refurbishment—an important shift because business technology is only as useful as the machines that people rely on every day.

This hardware experience later informed the MCF Refurbishing Framework: instead of treating every surplus computer as automatically saleable, machines are screened so weak or uneconomic units can be identified early and effort can be concentrated on better candidates.

What this contributed todayEnterprise hardware familiarity • refurbishment discipline • lifecycle thinking • MCF framework foundations

PRODUCT MILESTONE

Circle® Vertex One™ Laptop

The Vertex One Laptop became one of the most important milestones in Circle’s technology history. It represented an effort to move beyond servicing or developing technology for a single use case and toward presenting a complete computing product under the Circle name.

Vertex One was significant because it brought together the two directions already developing inside Circle: software-oriented systems thinking and hands-on computer hardware experience. It showed that Circle’s technology ambition was not limited to coding—it extended to the actual device used by the end user.

Why Vertex One still mattersIt remains proof of Circle’s early product-building mindset and is a direct part of the heritage behind today’s software + hardware ICT model.
2021
ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS DIRECTION

The thinking matures toward integrated enterprise management platforms.

As the systems work evolved, the direction moved from standalone applications toward more connected enterprise information. Circle ERP represented this shift: the goal was to bring multiple areas of an organization into a structured management environment rather than leaving information fragmented across disconnected tools.

This enterprise-platform direction is what now underpins Circle ICT’s ERP, AMS and EMS deployment services, as well as its emphasis on management visibility and control.

What this contributed todayERP direction • integrated information • role-based operations • management reporting

BRAND CONSOLIDATION

The Circle name becomes a formal intellectual-property asset.

The Circle trademark was registered in the Philippines in 2022, giving formal continuity to a name already being used across technology initiatives and later across the broader Circle Group.

For Circle ICT, the trademark milestone matters because the current business is not being created around a new or temporary label. It develops from a technology identity that had already produced systems and the Vertex One product in earlier years.

What this contributed todayBrand continuity • intellectual-property foundation • long-term Circle technology identity

CIRCLE ICT TODAY

The separate capabilities are organized into one complete ICT service company.

Circle ICT brings the earlier work together into a clearer commercial structure. Enterprise systems can be deployed online or on-site. Focused management applications are offered as off-the-shelf web apps. Websites and custom web applications can be managed by Circle ICT or delivered as code. Enterprise computers can be purchased in lots, refurbished through a disciplined process and supplied for business use.

The portfolio also expands beyond products into ICT training and seminars, professional speaking engagements, and professional assessment of operations to locate process bottlenecks and determine where technology can create the most value.

WHY THE HISTORY MATTERS TO A CLIENT

We did not arrive at “software + hardware + advisory” by adding services to a brochure.

The portfolio reflects the actual sequence of Circle’s technology work: systems first, hardware experience next, product development through Vertex One, integrated enterprise platforms, and finally a broader ICT practice. That history is why Circle ICT can approach a problem as both a systems builder and an operator of technology.

NOT SURE WHAT YOU NEED?

You do not need to know the technology. Start by telling us what is difficult in your business.

We translate the operational problem into a practical ICT recommendation—system, website, hardware, training, or a combination of them.
